Not everyone likes to be the center of attention at the local gym, grunting and sweating in front of endless pairs of eyes. This is especially true over the past couple of years when so much of our daily activity has been regulated to inside the house.
Luckily, a decent amount of home gym equipment can ensure a little extra weight loss after the pandemic pounds we all put on. One of the better systems we had the pleasure of testing out the new PowerFit Elite vibration plate.
This excellent workout trainer is a great way to stay in shape without ever having to leave the comfort of your home. Read on to learn more about how our PowerFit Elite Review turned out!
PowerFit Elite Review
Every time we get the opportunity to test out some new fitness equipment, especially a vibration plate, we approach the idea with a bit of skepticism. However, the PowerFit Elite was one of those rare exceptions to the rule.
Nearly everyone on our team felt they had benefited from the PowerFit Elite multidirectional vibration technology plate. We all had a blast convincing friends and family to jump on the vibration plate and give it a go.
What is the PowerFit Elite?
The PowerFit Elite is a vibration plate oscillation system meant to give you a whole-body workout. Each system includes two cross pulls with handles, a remote, manual, diet guide, and a durable vibration plate with variable speed control
The idea of using vibration to enhance your workout has been around since the mid-’60s. Even NASA was rumored to have jumped on the vibration plate workout bandwagon to keep their astronauts healthy and in shape while in outer space.
The PowerFit Elite is an “As Seen on TV” product that makes the promise you’ll improve your weight loss by completing exercises at home with the vibration plate. Similar to a traditional exercises, you’re meant to stand, squat, lunge, and more while incorporating the different cross pulls and vibration plate of the PowerFit Elite.
The PowerFit Elite vibration plate is really compact in design. It measures 21 inches by 13 inches and is only 4.5 inches high. That means you can fit this little bad boy pretty much anywhere you want it to go. We all kept our vibration plates under our desks or under the couch in the break room.
How Does the PowerFit Elite Work?
Standing on the PowerFit Elite while working out exposes your entire body to increasing pulses from the vibrating platform. The PowerFit Elite encourages all of your muscle groups to engage while you’re doing regular exercises due to the extra vibration.
The PowerFit Elite vibration plate has a sleek design that is pretty quiet and easy to slip under your bed or in your closet. The included remote control allows you to control the vibration plate intensity.
You can also improve your balance while standing on the PowerFit Elite vibration plate. This triggers many of your fine motor skills muscles to engage when they usually would be relaxing.
The vibration board comes with intensity settings from 1 to 99. This allows beginners and advanced users alike to get a full-body workout from home on the PowerFit Elite. The idea is the more powerful the vibration, the more your muscles have to work to maintain balance and pose.
There are plenty of Power Fit Elite vibration plate YouTube videos that you can follow along with, no matter your exercise level. We were impressed by how easy the experience was on our bodies. No one felt any undue joint or muscle pain from the vibration plate working its magic.
To get the best results, you should use the PowerFit Elite vibration plate with your regular exercise routine for about 10 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for a total of 30 minutes per week. Even just standing on the vibration plate will help with your overall balance.
Below is a video on how to operate the PowerFit Elite:
Types of Exercises You Can Do
If you follow the easiest workout exercises with the PowerFit Elite, you’ll only get a minimal experience. This vibration plate home workout system is not meant to use once and forget.
The real benefit of the PowerFit Elite vibration plate is using it with other everyday exercises such as bicep curls and inclined push ups, . This is an excellent way to amp up your HIIT cardio or cycle, especially when incorporating the two cross pulls. HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training and means switching from different excises in order to confuse your muscle groups. The vibration plate really aids in that confusion factor.
If you are into Yoga, the PowerFit Elite will increase the amount of muscle response to every single pose. For example, imagine doing downward-facing dog or other yoga positions while trying to maintain your balance on the vibration plate.
We strongly encourage people to follow the three power speed levels. If you haven’t worked out in a while, you may not want to switch on the PowerFit Elite vibration plate’s highest power setting right off the bat. Maybe start with the beginner first.

- The cross pulls resistance bands help ensure your upper body will get a workout as well as your lower body.

Does the PowerFit Elite Actually Work?
Alright, down the real brass tax. The quick answer is 100% yes! While the commercials can come off a little gimmicky, the PowerFit Elite vibration plate does deliver on its promises.
Keep in mind that you’re not going to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger with only a few uses. Like most exercise equipment, you have to use it routinely and partner that workout regime with a healthy diet.
We saw the best results for our Yoga users. Working at home through an entire 45-minute session using the vibration plate of the PowerFit Elite really sent our muscles to a new level. After about three weeks, we started seeing some changes in body composition. Nothing crazy drastic, but positive change.
It would be nice if the cross pulls resistance bands were stronger or offered different frequency levels. But that was our only complaint the entire time we used the PowerFit Elite at home. Otherwise, this was a fantastic exercise experience.
The primary point of using the PowerFit Elite is the vibration factor. There was a 2004 study that showed active males utilizing the machine for 20-minute sessions increased their energy expenditure by 22% resulting in more calories burned.
The most significant benefit comes from activating so many of your muscle structures. Using the PowerFit Elite will change your muscle tone performance and engage many of the groups you usually wouldn’t utilize in a non-vibrating workout.
The PowerFit Elite comes in at around $200 on Amazon. It has a ton of genuine reviews that make it a pretty safe investment.

Can you Build Muscle or Lose Weight with PowerFit Elite?
Absolutely! As long as you couple using the PowerFit Elite with a healthy eating plan, you’re bound to see some pounds shed off, and your muscles get firmer. We didn’t know this at first, but if you place your feet in different widths on the vibration plate, you simulate different exercises.
Placing your feet close together is like walking. The further apart you go, the more intense the running experience.
The really good news is the PowerFit Elite comes with an anti-slip cover and rubber bases to prevent it from moving around. We have an army dad that likes to do pushups and really enjoyed the benefit from our PowerFit Elite Review. He tested how hard it was to slide while exercising and was happy to report it held up.
The PowerFit Elite package also includes a user-friendly workout guide and meal plan booklet. This way, you’ll get the most out of your experience to help with losing weight. Some of the meals made us pretty hungry and forced a dine-in Chinese food order in the office.
Who is the PowerFit Elite for?
Our Powerfit Elite Review leaves us definitely suggesting this workout machine for anyone wanting to up their regular exercise routines, especially those that utilize HIIT training. The vibration plate really adds a new level to your muscle capabilities.
This probably isn’t the best solution for people with bad ankles or those struggling with extreme vertigo. The vibration does force you to maintain your balance, that is kind of the point, and that may not be the best for people who typically have a hard time staying upright or have extensive health issues
While the PowerFit Elite is designed to be low impact, better to play it safer than sorry. Average uses won’t risk injuring muscles or joints, but those with already loose or damaged knees may want to reconsider.
Furthermore, if you don’t have much space, the Powerfit Elite is great as it can be used in small spaces to accommodate your workout.
Otherwise, we so go nuts! As long as you are under the weight limit, you’re bound to see excellent gains from the PowerFit Elite.
If you are a Yoga enthusiast or an outdoor sports lover who requires more balance work, then the PowerFit Elite is an excellent solution. Just standing on the whole-body vibration plate alone trains your body to respond faster to balance requests.
Wrapping it Up
The PowerFit Elite is a great product. By itself, it is not a total gym wrapped up in a small package. However, if you use it for your regular home workout routine, you are bound to see improvements in your weight loss and muscle building.
The PowerFit Elite comes in at a pretty reasonable price on Amazon and other retailers. We strongly encourage you to check out the weight ratings for the vibration board before purchasing. It wouldn’t be helpful to purchase the smaller of the two available sizes and not be able to use it at home.
We think this is a great addition to all those friends and family members stuck at home, working from home, or who do not like going to a gym.
If you want a real kick, ask your teenagers to give it a try. We had a few of our team’s high schoolers come in and test it out, and they had a great time. The football player actually mentioned how different his legs felt after a workout using the PowerFit Elite.
All in all, this is a great compact size device to enhance your next exercise session that is worth the investment. Get in better shape without the hassle of expensive gyms.

Hi Linda. Yes it does work on carpet.
My knees are somewhat problematic. Could I still utilize one of these machines, but at a lower vibration rate until my knees tighten up??
Thanks for the comment. With the variable speeds, you can adjust based on any preexisting issues. That said, if you feel this isn’t a suitable product, you have 30 days to return it.
